About Novel-T

Jerseys are a great way to show support for your heroes–if your heroes happen to be athletes.

But what if your heroes are found in the bookstore instead of the ballpark? What if books are your game?

Novel-T offers an opportunity to express your support for the all-stars of literature. For those who feel a connection to certain writers or characters–be it Walt Whitman's expansive exultations, Huck Finn's mischievous morality, Kurt Vonnegut's humorous humanism, or Bartleby's seemingly inscrutable insubordination–these super-soft, slim-fit jersey-style tees are a winning way to "wear your read."

Novel-T offers two "teams" of literary players: the classic American Canons in gray first took the field in the fall of 2009, and the upstart Literary Puncs in burgundy showed up with their cleats on in spring, 2010. While the Canons were consisted solely of 19th Century American writers and characters, the Puncs draw liberally form foreign talent, as well as boldly crossing the "living" barrier to draft the league's first living author.

Novel-T's are designed & printed in the USA. The use of names and images are all officially licensed. They are available for retail purchase directly through novel-t.com or at finer independent bookstores across the country.

According to Ahab, the pitcher–and captain, of course–of the Canons, the idea of a literary league makes perfect sense. "Aye, it shouldn't surprise ye to have such a league. In fact, my hearties, there should be twenty leauges thus conceived! Aye, and I'll chase the pennant round Good Hope, and round the Horn, and round perdition's flames before I give it up!"

Every Novel-T Purchase Supports A Good Cause

  • 826nyc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, or
