Don Quixote T-Shirt
The only Novel-T ballplayer to show up to the ballpark his first day wearing his own helmet – not to mention with his own batboy in tow – the ingenious gentleman Don Quixote roams center field for the National Puncs.
Quixote is one of those players with an eye for the action; if there's a collision or fight or any kind of bang-bang play on the field, he is probably right in the middle of it.
A talented hitter, Quixote is one player the opposing pitchers don’t want to pitch to. Many suspect Quixote may be a little mistaken when he gets to the plate and screams threats at the floodlights beyond the outfield, but National Puncs fans no better than to correct him. Quixote is as good as his word and attacks the light with great, sailing homeruns that show those giants out there just who's boss.
Defensively, the center fielder-errant sometimes misplays balls that land in front of him, as it can take Quixote a moment or two to dismount his trusty steed, Rocinante, field the ball, and then remount his horse and run it into the infield. After all, it's difficult to throw a ball when one carries a shield and lance!
